FAST AND FREE MATH LITERACY TESTS

Pre-Algebra Algebra 1 Geometry Algebra 2 Trigonometry Precalculus

Parents often ask us, "How do I know if my child is ready for the next math class?" We've created math literacy tests to help you place your child into an appropriate math class. You can now quickly assess a student's proficiency for a prerequisite math course. Each 10 minute literacy test is just 10 questions long and is designed to reveal if a student has a basic level of understanding of an entire year of math.

Here's how it works. Say you're trying to decide whether a student is ready for Algebra, have the student take the Pre-Algebra Literacy Test. If the student passed a prior Pre-Algebra class he or she should score nearly 10/10 on our literacy test. A poor score is a red flag that the student does not grasp the basic concepts of Pre-Algebra. This would indicate a need for more review before moving on into Algebra.

The test is free of cost and refreshingly free of advertisement and clutter. The table below will help you to determine the appropriate prerequisite for each class.
